A year and a half back

This seems like yesterday, but is actually what my life was like a year ago. I dug this up from my old blog. Typos intact. Sweet memories :)

By the time I woke up yesterday, the day, as I know it, was long gone. Seems most in the apartment woke up rather enthu. A quick confused SMS conference and six found themselves stuffed in an auto which was obviously made for the driver alone. Plus, he cribbed. The usual!

Had a lunch which could have been sumptuous but wasn’t because many in the gathering thought they needed to lose weight. Then the horde headed for Landmark. The one not in Spencers. I bought Lawrence Lessig’s The Future of Ideas: The fate of commons in a connected world amidst cries of ‘no, not again!’ from certain quarters. Much to the chagrin of those forced to be around me, I’ve been getting too much into new media law and theory these days.

Everyone found something to his or her liking inspite of the fact that it was humanly impossible to navigate the collection without squeezing your actual proportions to meet the gaps between the racks. The Spencers Plaza Landmark is much more accessible thqt way.

A stroke of idiocy and we had tickets for the 7 PM show of Page 3 at Sathyam. I can enjoy anything. But the movie seemed to be heading in all directions at once. By the time it got over, every single damn character had had an eye opening experience. What’s more? A character of ill repute shared my second name.

Then at ten, to Bike and Barrel for a classmate’s birthday. Got used to the ruccus in some time. Novel. Thankfully, they played Eminem. Then, back home. Then to sleep.

  1. *Life will never be like that again

I’ll start crying. I feel sick of the way life is now. It used to be beautiful back then. And the best part is, this is how most days were. Wake up, college, sad/god lunch, Spencer/Santhyam, dinner/daru/dance, home, sleep/chat…

    Sigh (Seriously)!

  2. Hey man… The SMS conference and the six in the auto… I actually rather remember that night, it was a nice day…

I remember we went to that Landmark and then crossed the road and went to Ispahani and ate in Sweet Chariot first…

Shit but those were fun days.

    I hate work.

  3. Life is good. Cheer up. Life is always good.
